That's why we prepared for you the list of updates for software you're using at your store. We added new features and made some fixes. In November 2020 we improved 28 Magento 2 modules as well as Argento theme. Let us share with you the monthly report.
New release for Argento theme
Argento 1.21.1 release brings the included configurable header in all Argento design. We added it to the theme editor to help you replace the default Magento 2 header with a unique one. It brings a fresh personal look of your pages. The editor has a drag and drop interface that makes the customization process quick and easy.
Among other major updates you can see:
- Completed migration for all themes from Slick Carousel to Swiper.
- Fixed sticky top menu jumps to bottom of the page during scroll. Such issue occured when page length increased (via ajax or any other javascript).
- Fixed translation for Related products sidebar title.
- Improved animation for navigation at RTL stores on mobile devices.
- Improvements for CSS and JavaScript.
- AMP-friendly Contact Us form.
- Layered navigation support on attribute/option-based pages.
- New option in edit slider interface - “Responsive breakpoints”. It helps to change slides per view on different screen widths.
- Added ability to set different banner size per screen size. This feature allows to improve pagespeed score when configured.
- Support for configurable products in “Frequently Bought Together” and “Customers Also Bought” blocks.

New updates for Magento 2 modules
Well, the new release for Attributes and Brands Pages is something we’re proud of. We added plenty of cool features to expand the attribute-based pages functionality. Since the 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 version you receive:
- An awesome filters collection based on your choice on the option-based pages.
- A short attribute's option description in the product option block on the product page.
- A sort order config field that allows for grouping brands manually.
- The layered navigation block on Magento 2 brand pages.

AMP 1.4.6 improvements are:
- Added config to exclude URLs from AMP.
- Added Contact Us page support.
- Using the latest FontAwesome version.
FireCheckout updates:
With the 1.25.1 release the FireCheckout users have got Google Analytics Integration. This is a nice opportunity to monitor customer behaviour at a particular checkout step. In the Google Analytics sales funnel for Magento 2 checkout post we explained how the feature helps you to double orders.
In addition, we added a configurable ability to place the “Purchase” button under the payment section when using one column layout.
Some other FireCheckout improvements and fixes:
- Fixed autofill styles in latest chrome versions.
- Fixed unable to place order when the module sees some invalid field in a hidden popup.
- Move shipping methods notice to the top of the shipping methods section.
- Tippyjs library updated to the latest version.
- Fixed error when Paypal Express Checkout popup was shown in case the user had not checked all of required terms and conditions.
- Improved scroll to “missing shipping method” error when placing order.
- Added two new PDF template designs.
- Fixed download link in Magento 2.3.6/2.4.0.
- Attachment name now includes increment id.
- Added configuration option to select address template used in PDF.
Sold Together 1.7.0 - 1.7.6 updates:
- ADA compliant fixes and templates refactoring.
- Support for configurable products in “Frequently Bought Together” block. Swatches integration. The module also renders options for configurable products even when they don't link with any swatches. So users still can choose the required attributes in a drop down.
- New config options “Product Types to Display” for both blocks. You can choose what types of products you want to see in “Frequently Bought Together” and “Customers Also Bought” blocks.
- Fixed incompatibility with Magento FPC.
- Fixed possible 404 on product page at some instances where Argento Force is installed.
- Improved module stability.
Easy banner 1.6.0 version received the added ability to set different banner sizes per screen size. This feature allows to improve pagespeed score when properly configured.
Helpdesk 1.2.5, 1.2.10, 1.2.12
- Added disabling behavior for the submit button to prevent many cloned tickets.
- Added checking imap functions support.
- Disabled some file uploading exceptions.
- Hide encrypted text in the subject column.
- In Ticket Form the Field ‘email’ se as required now.
- Implemented IdentityInterface in abstract ticket block.
- Added cacheable=false for ticketMessage listing block.
- Set open status for tickets when a customer adds a new answer.
SEO Suite 1.9.5 received updates for the following built-in modules: Hreflang — 1.4.3, Rich Snippets — 1.4.11, Canonical URLs— 1.0.8, Seo Images — 1.3.7, Seo Templates — 1.5.16, Seo URLs — 1.5.22, Easyslide 1.6.7:
- Implemented IdentityInterface for slider block. Now you don’t need to flush FPC after the slider change in Magento Admin.
- Show disabled state on disabled slides in Magento Admin.
- Added action to duplicate existing sliders in Magento Admin.
- Fixed slider behavior when thumbnails enabled and effect is as ‘Cude’/’Flip’.
Ajax Layered Navigation 1.3.30:
- Attribute and Brands pages integration.
- A range slider for price type custom filters.
- Added multiple 1-column support.
- Improved scroll to top: scroll when top is outside of the viewport.
- Fixed duplicate page description after clearing filters.
- No more sending email notifications (order status update, newsletter, review reminders) to anonymized email addresses.
- Fixed possible disappeared message after adding a product to the cart. It prevents Magento from updating customer sections after registering an unknown cookie.
- Decreased number of ajax requests if some module writes cookies multiple times.
- Fixed margin for newsletter consent at RTL locales.
- Hidden “Delivery Date” column in orders grid by default. You can bring it back with “Columns” button above the grid.
- Added ability to sort and filter by “Delivery Date” column in orders grid.
- Replaced slick carousel with swiper.
- Fixed PHP error when saving testimonials with uploading the image in Magento 2.4.1 backend.
- Added image width and height parameters in the slider widget.
Easy Catalog Images 1.4.12 gives you the possibility to add the widget using the backend widget interface. Before, the block was not displayed if added that way.
Lightbox 1.5.0 version comes with an added new masonry template for the gallery widget.
Address fields manager 1.5.7 and Customer field manager 1.2.7 got the updated mass status action.
Knowledge Base 1.0.9 now includes the ‘Contact Us’ button instead of the ‘Live chat’ button.
Cache warmer 1.0.9 has the added cron councurrency and delay options.
Highlight 1.6.6 version comes with a swiper instead of slick carousel.
The modules like Rich Snippets 1.4.11, Email SMTP 0.3.13, 0.3.14, 0.3.15, Page Speed 1.4.12, Maintenance page 2.1.2, Ajax Pro 1.5.14, Product Labels 1.5.14, Easy tabs 1.9.4, Easy Flags 1.3.5 were updated with minor improvements and fixes.

Our leading solution for checkout is still on the top. We keep support for Magento modules. In November we added some fixes to the FireCheckout module. The fast Magento checkout extension has received the updated integration with Iways_PaypalPlus when a one-column layout is used.
