Such welcome news - GDPR modules

Surely you've heard much talk about GDPR. We have recently received a number of emails with requests for Magento solutions compatible to GDPR requirements. And now you see the results.

GDPR extensions are available both for Magento and Magento 2. You can get these modules as a separate package as well as a part of Argento theme.

There are features you must have if you're running an online business for EU citizens. The GDPR module includes the most of them. In a nutshell:

  • Ability to add opt-in checkboxes for collecting user consents
  • Ability to show checkboxes in various forms such as registration page, Contact Us, newsletter subscription, product review page.
  • Flexible configuration of GDPR-friendly forms.
  • Privacy Tools page for registered customers where they can see all given consents as well as request the data deletion.

Hope you’ve already seen the awesome updates for Argento theme made in 1.4.0 release for Magento 2 and 1.10.0 release for Magento.

  • Numerous fixes for registered customers without addresses:
  • Fixed js error when placing order
  • Fixed shipping address saving
  • Fixed shipping methods reload

Product Questions 1.2.16 improvements are:

  • Removed email header and footer templates, to be compatible with Magento 2.2.4.
  • Added client-side form validators.

SEO Suite 0.10.1 has got a compatibility with Magento 2.1.x for Metadata Templates.

Attributes and Brands pages 1.0.9 comes with fixed error when page identifier is entered in invalid registry.

Easy Banners 1.2.2 includes small CSS fixes as well as fixed image styles in Book layout.

Sold Together 1.2.7 has got added new config option that allows to disable ‘Create relations on order save’.

SMTP Email 0.1.5 improvements are:

  • Added predefined smtp providers settings.
  • Fixed integration with Magento 2.2.4.

The main updates for Magento modules

FireCheckout 4.3.3

  • Fixed newsletter subscription when registering new account and using paypal express or any other payment method that redirects to another site.
  • Fixed popup positioning when body has relative position and margin.

Improvements for third-party modules

Lightbox Pro 1.2.7, Prolabels 2.7.14, Easy Flags 3.1.1, Easy Banners 1.7.4 modules have  an unified image uploader from TM Core in module’s widgets.

Navigation Pro 1.6.0 improvements are:

  • New awesome Nowrap feature. It always keep the top level menu items in a single row. Has a responsive design.
  • Source code improvements (no copy/pastes).

Attributes and Brands pages 1.4.2 changes are:

  • Fixed error when page identifier is entered in invalid registry.
  • Use unified image uploader from TM Core in admin interfaces.

Product Videos 1.1.3 includes an unified image uploader from TM Core in admin interface.

Testimonials 1.3.0 improvements are:

  • Compatibility with GDPR module that comes in Argento Package.
  • Rating field is required at testimonial form.
  • Unified image uploader from TM Core in admin interfaces.

Sold Together 1.5.2 comes with the following changes:

  • Fix ‘product ID already exists’ error on checkout success page.
  • Improved caching for blocks of module.
  • Respect “Reindex… via Cron” config options. Cron process ignored the config settings in previous versions.

SEO Suite 0.6.4 has got the improved attribute directive output for numeric attributes (truncate trailing zeros in decimal part) in Metadata Templates module.
