Updates for Breeze products
In November, we released the improvements for Breeze 2.11.0, Breeze Evolution 2.1.6, and Breeze Blank 2.6.0 versions.
Here is the list of updates for Breeze - the fastest Magento 2 front end.
- The change of the code that shows the login popup in terms of performance optimizations. Please use the next code only:
- The message about proper performance setup was added to the backend panel.
- Improve critical image preload on the homepage and category pages.
- $(el).lineClamp() widget added to use in pair with new line-clamp-[1..6] utilities.
- Improve $.lazy behavior:
- If a user was active before the lazy call - the callback will run immediately.
- Utilize single event listener for all lazy callbacks.
- breeze-inactive class added to the body until the first user interaction.
- Ability to run some logic in the widget when an element appears in the viewport.
- Color swatches are now rendered options when an element is visible.
- Added ability to hide currency title using currency-separator and currency-title classes.
- Added ability to use absolute position for actions block when using grid listing.

Updates for Magento 2 modules
- Fixed JS error when JS bundle and minification are enabled.
- Fixed a few issues with the Olegnax theme.
- PaypalExpress fix: do not validate the shipping address when a quote is virtual.
- Remove stickyfill dependency because all browsers already support it.
- Fixed error in the CheckoutRegistration module when a quote is outdated.
- JS fixes in the CheckoutSuccess module.
- Email notifications added to OrderAttachment module.
Page speed 1.7.16, 1.7.18,1.7.20 versions include fixes and the improved ‘interactive’ config description.
Tax VAT 1.4.4 has the added ability to validate UK and IM VAT numbers.
- Improve implementation of the feature “Update tab content on storefront” (works for configurable product on options change). Better compatibility with third-party modules.
- A lot of CSS fixes for better integration with Breeze Blank and Breeze Evolution themes.
- Fix not loaded product image in order emails when storefront theme is Olegnax/athlete2.
- Improve source code to meet Magento Coding standards.
Rich Snippets 1.7.1 includes shipping details data snippets. Fix not show table rate shipping and matrix rate shipping (WebShopApps vendor).
- Do not add a quick view to wishlist popup (Breeze Theme).
- Remove the empty string in the file head.
- Allow changing modal width with less variable.
- Improved description positioning.
- Inherited font style from the theme.
- Code cleanup.
- Removed empty spaces around the testimonial (Used in ArgentoChic theme).
- Installer command added.
Navigation Pro 1.17.7 comes with Breeze Theme integration improvements: dropdown positioning and chevron support.
Highlight 1.8.11 has Breeze performance improvement. The slide item is no longer cloned on the initial page load. It’s now triggered when the user is starting to slide the slider.
Ajax Layered Navigation 1.4.24 got the improved Breeze integration and stability.
Ajax Search and Autocomplete 1.13.15 includes Breeze theme fixes.
GDPR 1.5.20 has a code cleanup.

- Allows for using lazyload attribute.
We updated the Attributes pages 1.6.7 and Page Builder 1.16 modules with minor fixes.
