A monthly dose of updates. It is amazing how much has been done in March 2018

During March we talked about so many wonderful changes in our products. Both Magento and Magento 2 modules were updated to bring more functionality to your website. We introduced new Argento design to show you the excellent way of selling electronics, tools or equipment.

How many all is already done and changed. Why don't we walk you through it? Let's go to the list of monthly updates because that's interesting.

Time for new Argento design

Argento 1.3.0 release is awesome. There's so much we want to tell you. Let's start with new Stripes design.

Argento Stripes was designed as Magento 2 electronics theme. This amazing colorful template involves visitors into shopping process with many innovations both in design and functionality areas. Let us brag about:

  • Amazon menu right out of the box
  • Newsletter signup popup
  • New highlighted products widget on the homepage
  • Separate "Departments" page
  • Additional products attributes shown on products listing page.

But, of course, that's not the only thing about the new theme. There are so many things you will like. Start enjoying Stripes right now.

  • Grid layout for suggestions popup.

  • Remove product review summary and tabs from add product popup.

Easy Banners

  • Magento 2.1 compatibility.
  • Removed URL validation as it does not allow to use the .html suffix.
  • Fixed ‘Undefined variable: options’ error for banners without placeholders.
  • Fixed ‘display_count_per_customer’ conditions when FPC is enabled.

Easy Catalog Images

  • Added configurable ‘Departments’ page with masonry layout style.

Easytabs

  • Expanded tabs layout added.

Highlight

  • Added ability to show products widget as ajax carousel.
  • Fixed bug when you can’t call for multiple widgets with different conditions on the same page.
  • Fixed php error when using pagination in ajax carousel.

Navigation Pro

ProLabels

  • Optimize labels rendering on storefront.

SEO Suite

Rich Snippets:

  • Does not add a rating to snippet when product reviews do not have ratings.

SEO URLs:

  • Improved compatibility with not English speaking stores.

Sold Together

  • New Stripe layout for ‘Frequently Bought Together’ block. Now can choose between ‘Amazon Inspired’ (default) and ‘Stripe’ layout style.

Magento 2 modules’ updates

FireCheckout 1.9.0 release brings us to the enhanced compatibility with third-party modules and third-party themes. You can see the details in the informative post about 1.9.0 updates. 

You can also see the following improvements:

  • Cleaner checkout styles
  • Firecheckout default URL changed to ‘/checkout’. It replaces standard checkout now. (It’s done to provide better out-of-the-box compatibility with third-party payment methods)
  • Improved checkout flow when using Paypal_HostedPro solution
  • Mobile styles improvements:
  • Spacing between section titles.
  • Tooltip alignment improved.

A wide range of improvements have been introduced for the M2 Ajax Layered Navigation extension. We focused on the changes in Magento 2 layered navigation, new style, features and much more in the 1.2.0 release article.

In a nutshell:

  • Added multiple mode and tooltip (popup)

  • Added amazon like category list style
  • Added infinite scroll
  • Added reset option
  • Added all-products page
  • Split and refactored js code
  • Override swatches template
  • Add unit tests.

Navigation Pro 1.4.0 release includes:

  • Overlay feature added
  • Native browser’s column-count feature will be used to build columns in vertical direction.
  • Allow to close dropdown when click outside of menu on iPad
  • Better RTL support. No visible transformations after page is loaded.
  • Small fixes.

Easy Catalog Images 1.2 has got a configurable Amazon-like ‘Departments’ page with masonry layout style.

Address Autocomplete 1.0.5-1.0.6 changes are:

  • Add country config option (Restrict the search to a specific countries).
  • Js code style was improved (jscs, eslint).
  • Fixed region field autocompletion.

Checkout Success 1.1.2 comes with fixed missing ‘registration’ block in some third-party themes.

Easy Banners 1.2.1 release includes the following improvements:

  • Magento 2.1 compatibility.
  • Removed URL validation as it does not allow to use the .html suffix.
  • Fixed ‘Undefined variable: options’ error for banners without placeholders.
  • Fixed ‘display_count_per_customer’ conditions when FPC is enabled.

Delivery Date 1.1.2 has got added ‘Enabled’ option (Disabled by default).

Ajax Search and Autocomplete 1.2.9 improvements are:

  • Grid suggestion layout was added.
  • Added category filter.
  • Multiply small updates.

SEO Suite 0.9.1 includes two updates for the following modules:

  • Rich Snippets: does not add the rating to snippet when product reviews do not have ratings.
  • SEO URLs: improved compatibility with not English speaking stores.

Magento modules’ updates

Page Speed 1.3.1 release includes:

  • Add compatibility with AheadWorks > iPhone Theme 3
  • Ignore web pos pages
  • Add ignore XML errors option for load Html
  • Improve node saving; fix strip C14N (image lazyload)
  • Fix lazy-javascript for Mozilla (defer-js)
  • Improve attributes checking in defer-CSS
  • Multiple small updates.

AMP 1.6.2 brings in the following fixes:

  • Fixed not-working ‘Add to Cart’ button on category pages at google CDN pages.
  • Fixed ‘Add to compare’ links at Google CDN cache pages.

Easy Catalog Images 2.4.4 release has got an improved TM_Amp compatibility.

Daily deals 1.1.6 includes:

  • Compatibility with ProLables extension version 2.7.13.
  • Prevent crash on multistore Magento instances.

FireCheckout 4.3.1 fixes and improvements are:

  • Fixed too early email address validation when using one column layout.
  • Fixed not working Authorize.net when using one column layout.

Third-party modules

  • Removed deprecated integration with CraftyClicks
  • Added Klarna_Payments integration. See the docs for more information.
