Product Description
Focus on website speed as important SEO ranking factor
Google algorithm is using speed as one of the most important ranking factors. With Page Speed, you’ve got an opportunity to get optimized HTML content. Use our module settings to make the code clean without extra formatting. Minifying files leads to saving load time. As a result, your customers will get a website respond much faster. Better user experience, higher traffic and significantly increased conversion rate. That what you are expecting.
Reduce page size by HTML, Javascript and CSS files minification
It has been proved that Javascript and CSS minification can reach approximately 21% size reduction. Get the store load up to 85% faster. Via Page Speed configuration you could compress your CSS and JS files. All unnecessary elements will be excluded. You are allowed to choose up to 4 types of compression for Javascript code and 3 types for CSS code minifying. Jsmin, Jsminplus, Cssmin, Yui compressor and Closure Compiler tools are supported. You can test the compression and check the results right in the admin panel. Moreover, our module comes with Closure Compiler and Yui settings.
Optimize product images to maximise site load speed
If you have many images on your website, you’d better enable image optimization. This way you will reduce image sizes without a change in quality. In the module configuration, you can change the compression utility, set the utility path and specify options for Gif, JPEG, and PNG optimisation. Our extension enables scanning selected directories for images. Smush.it service is supported. You can set up the number of images to be compressed per iteration. Bring users the best visual experience.
Improve user experience with lazy loading feature
In order to make a website load faster and save bandwidth, we recommend allowing website open without loading all images at once. Page Speed extension includes Lazy load image feature. Via the option, you could enable images to download gradually after when they appear on the viewport. As a rule, the images will be loaded once the user starts scrolling. Lazy image integration is based on Lazysizes library.
