Magento 2.4 MySQL search possibility

Despite the removed MySQL support since Magento 2.4 version, we decided to help you keep building a custom search using MySQL. With our extension, we added a new value to the Catalog Search configuration settings. Now you can install Magento 2.4.0 without Elasticsearch need.

Legacy MySQL module options

With the module, you receive a quick way to use MySQL. A few steps only required. First, you choose the "Legacy MySQL (Deprecated) value" in the Search Engine drop-down. Then you reindex your store Catalog Search index. We also provide recommendations on how to change the search engine over SSH/CLI.
